Environmental Statement

JW is working towards a comprehensive “green” program; to promote environmental awareness, while ensuring that we continue to meet all of our clients’ needs.

We will do so by offering a variety of environmentally conscious products; by recycling carpet and pad waste; by encouraging & offering recycling; and by providing education to our employees and clients.

We make it easy for our clients to find the right “green” products.

Green JW

At JW Floor Covering, we are becoming more and more aware of our effect on the earth and are working to protect our environment. Some of our efforts include recycling 6 tons of removed carpet and 1 ton of removed carpet pad through the Los Angeles Fiber Company each day – which means that more than 1,500 tons of carpet and 250 tons of carpet pad are kept from our landfill each year. JW also participates in other recycling efforts, including paper and cardboard, architectural binders and carpet samples. JW recently installed energy efficient blinds, to allow us to operate our internal temperature controls more efficiently, thus saving energy.

Green Products –

JW also features a variety of “green” products, which are made, in whole or in part, with natural and/or recycled materials. Some excellent choices include wool, bamboo, rubber, linoleum and cork. Let us help you create a “green” space today!
